Reports and social media posts recently claimed that the Splitsvilla X5 winner was in talks to enter Salman Khan’s show as a wild card contestant. Another name linked with the same speculation was Rhiya Ahir.
But Akriti has now given a clear answer.
Is Akriti Negi Entering Bigg Boss 20?
For now, the answer is no.
On September 25, Akriti shared an Instagram Story responding to the wild card reports and wrote that she was not going to Bigg Boss, calling the news a rumour and asking people not to spread it.
That makes the current situation quite simple.
There were reports about her possible entry, but Akriti herself has denied them.
Unless Colors TV, JioHotstar or the Bigg Boss team announces something different later, her wild card entry should not be treated as confirmed.

The latest round of speculation picked up after an X account called Digital News Hub claimed on September 23 that Akriti Negi was in talks to enter Bigg Boss 20 as a wild card.
The same post also mentioned Rhiya Ahir as another possible entrant. Indiatimes later reported the claim but clearly noted that neither name had been officially confirmed by the makers at that stage.
This is important because reality-show casting rumours happen almost every season.
Being “in talks” is very different from signing a contract and walking into the house.
Who Is Akriti Negi?
Akriti Negi is already familiar to reality TV viewers.
She appeared in MTV Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand in 2023 before competing in MTV Splitsvilla X5.
Her biggest reality-show moment came in 2024 when she and Jashwanth Bopanna won Splitsvilla X5, defeating the other finalists in the finale.
