Taniya Chatterjee has built one of those OTT careers that is surprisingly difficult to track correctly.
Search her name online and you will find Gandii Baat, Watchman, Dil Do, Jaal and Love Bites. But many lists mix up release years, character names and even platforms.
The biggest 2026 update is also unexpected.
Taniya has not released a clearly documented new web series this year. Her latest indexed scripted work currently extends through Utha Patak in 2025, while her 2026 activity has moved heavily into music videos, including Qayamat and Haye Re Haye.
That makes this a better time to clean up her actual filmography rather than simply add “2026” to an old web-series list.

Who Is Taniya Chatterjee?
Taniya Chatterjee is an Indian actress, model and performer associated mainly with Hindi digital entertainment.
She is from Kolkata, West Bengal, and later moved to Mumbai while pursuing acting.
In a 2025 Outlook interview, Taniya herself said that her first series after moving to Mumbai was Gandii Baat Season 4. She also explained that she sees herself primarily as an actress, with social media functioning as part of her professional branding rather than her main identity.
One biographical detail needs caution.
The original draft gives her birthday as December 26.
Current IMDb and Filmibeat listings instead use December 22, 1994, while a separate IMDb profile has previously displayed November 27.
Because public databases disagree, I would avoid confidently publishing December 26 unless Taniya herself confirms it.
The same caution applies to some early education and film claims that are repeated by biography websites without strong primary sourcing.

IMDb’s current profile documents Taniya across projects including Utha Patak, House of Lies, Desi Kisse, Picture Abhi Baaki Hai, Crimes and Confessions, Watchman, Dil Do, Titliyaan, Jaal and Kasak.
Gandii Baat Season 4 – Taniya as Chandani
Gandii Baat became Taniya’s first major Hindi web-series breakthrough.
She appears as Chandani in Season 4.
Current episode references place Chandani in the episode Pati Mera, alongside performers including Urmimala Sinha Roy, Neha Pal and Akansha Verma.
Taniya has herself described Gandii Baat Season 4 as her first series after moving to Mumbai.
That makes it reasonable to call Gandii Baat her Hindi OTT breakthrough.
It is less accurate to call it her first appearance on screen, because several biography databases connect her with earlier modelling and acting work.
Class of 2020 – One Credit Often Oversimplified
Taniya also appears in Class of 2020.
IMDb credits her across 10 episodes of the 2020 ALTBalaji series.
The cast includes Rohan Mehra, Chetna Pande, Joyita Chatterjee, Sushant Tanwar, Alam Khan and others.
Some 2026 entertainment reports call Taniya’s appearance “Class of 2020 Season 2,” but IMDb’s current programme record lists the project simply as Class of 2020 with its 2020 run.
For a clean filmography, I would therefore use:
Class of 2020 – 2020 – 10 episodes
rather than confidently labelling it Season 2.
Kasak – Taniya as Nita
Kasak is one of Taniya’s more substantial early OTT credits.
IMDb credits her as Nita or Nita Chaterjee across all 11 episodes of the 2020 series.
The main cast also includes Ihana Dhillon as Sheetal, Minissha Lamba as Minal Joshi and Reema Vohra as Janki.
With 11 credited episodes, Kasak gave Taniya considerably more screen time than a one-off anthology appearance.
Jaal – Taniya as Surekha
In 2022, Taniya appeared in Jaal.
IMDb currently credits her as Surekha, with the alternate spelling Tanya Chaterjee appearing in some metadata.
Current filmography records credit her across five episodes.
This is another example of why Taniya’s filmography can become confusing online – her name appears as:
Taniya Chatterjee
Taniya Chaterjee
Tanya Chaterjee
Those spelling differences can make the same performer look like multiple actresses in automated cast databases.
Titliyaan – Taniya as Tanya
Titliyaan followed in 2022.
Taniya plays Tanya and is currently credited in five episodes.
This belongs to the period when she was appearing frequently across smaller Indian OTT services and anthology-style projects.
Dil Do – Taniya as Chameli
Dil Do is another important 2022 role.
Taniya plays Chameli and is credited across six episodes.
The show also features Priya Gamre among its main cast.
Chameli is one of Taniya’s most consistently documented character names, which is why it appears frequently in actress-search queries.
Crimes and Confessions – Taniya as Kavya
One significant credit missing from many short Taniya Chatterjee lists is Crimes and Confessions.
IMDb credits her as Kavya in eight episodes between 2021 and 2023.
That makes it one of her longer-running digital associations.
Unlike Watchman or Dil Do, which revolve around one relatively compact story, Crimes and Confessions uses an anthology structure with changing characters and storylines.
Watchman – The Correct Year Is 2023
The original draft says Watchman continued through 2024 and 2025.
That is not supported by the current episode data.
Watchman premiered on January 31, 2023.
IMDb credits Taniya as Tanu in six episodes.
The series follows a watchman named Amit and several women living in the residential building where he works.
Taniya appears alongside performers including Pihu Singh and Priya Gamre.
So the correct entry is:
Watchman – 2023 – Tanu
not a 2024-2025 continuing role.
There is also no verified announcement that Tanu is returning for a new 2026 Watchman season.
Love Bites Is From 2023, Not 2025
This is one of the biggest corrections to the original article.
Love Bites did not release in 2025.
IMDb lists the first episode on June 6, 2023, with the fifth episode arriving on July 30, 2023.
The five-episode Hindi romance features:
Taniya Chatterjee
Aditi Sharma
Taniya Mehta
Nidhi Mahawan
IMDb lists Dreamzz Images Studio and EorTV Original as production companies.
So I would remove the claim that Love Bites was a 2025 Lal Mirchi release.
The cleaner listing is:
Love Bites – 2023 – EorTV Original – 5 episodes
Wild Fantasy – Taniya as Somya
Taniya also appeared in Wild Fantasy in early 2023.
IMDb credits her as Somya across two episodes.
The series was released beginning January 6, 2023.
This title is worth keeping because it shows how active her digital output became during 2022 and 2023.
Picture Abhi Baaki Hai – Taniya as Muskan
Picture Abhi Baaki Hai is another major 2023 credit often missing from older lists.
Taniya plays Muskan.
IMDb credits her in seven of the show’s eight listed episodes.
The series began on December 1, 2023.
Other cast members include Ujjwal Singh, Bharatt Bhatia, Siddharth Raj Singh, Manvi Chugh and Prachi Lengare.
Seven episodes make this a substantially larger credit than several of the projects normally placed higher on Taniya’s web-series lists.
House of Lies Put Her Alongside a More Mainstream Cast
In 2024, Taniya appeared in House of Lies.
IMDb credits her simply as Sister in law.
The project also features Sanjay Kapoor, Hiten Paintal, Mir Sarwar, Smiley Suri and Ajitesh Gupta.
This is useful in understanding Taniya’s career because it placed her alongside a more conventional Hindi film and television cast instead of only niche OTT performers.
Desi Kisse – Taniya as Jazz
Taniya’s 2024 credits also include Desi Kisse.
IMDb currently lists her as Jazz across eight episodes.
That is another project that deserves a place in a complete list because eight episodes make it one of her larger indexed credits.
Utha Patak – Her Latest Clearly Documented Scripted Credit
As of October 23, 2026, Utha Patak is the latest clearly documented scripted series on Taniya’s main IMDb filmography.
She is credited in two anthology episodes under two different character names:
Malti
Naina
One of those episodes, Designer Ka Nasha, aired on April 21, 2025 and features Taniya as Malti alongside Lalit Dixit.
The wider Utha Patak anthology continued with numerous different performers and stories.
That makes 2025 the latest clearly indexed year for Taniya’s scripted web-series work.
So What Is Taniya Chatterjee Doing in 2026?
This is where the article becomes more current.
Taniya has not disappeared.
Instead, her public work has shifted noticeably toward music.
In January 2026, she appeared opposite singer-songwriter Ravish Khanna in Qayamat.
The official Eros Universe music video was released on January 22, 2026 and has crossed 1.2 million views on YouTube at the time checked.
The song credits Taniya as the female lead, with Ravish Khanna handling vocals and lyrics.
Haye Re Haye Became Her Second Major 2026 Music Video
In August 2026, Taniya appeared with Marathi actor and dancer Pushkar Jog in Haye Re Haye.
The track is sung by Nakash Aziz and Aboli Girhe, with music by Salil Amrute and lyrics by Pushkar Jog.
Taniya explained in an August interview that her earlier social-media collaboration with Pushkar following Qayamat eventually led to the two deciding to make a full music video together.
That gives her 2026 career a different pattern from the previous few years:
2022-2025 – heavy web-series output
2026 – music videos and broader entertainment appearances
Taniya Is Also a Trained Dancer
One detail worth adding to the biography is her dance background.
In an August 2026 interview, Taniya said she has trained in Kathak, Bharatanatyam and hip-hop.
That makes her increased move toward music videos such as Qayamat and Haye Re Haye more understandable.
It is not simply a random side project.
Music videos allow her to use a performance skill that her scripted OTT roles do not always showcase.
Taniya Chatterjee’s Singing Debut Was Real
The original article is correct about Mera Watan Mujhse Hai.
In August 2022, Taniya announced her singing debut with the patriotic track.
She said the song focused on the importance of women in society and issues women continue to face. The song was scheduled for an August 14 release ahead of Independence Day.
This should be distinguished from Soneya.
Taniya appeared in the Soneya music video, but she was not one of its singers.
The official Red Ribbon Musik credits list Harmaan Nazim and Sarodee Borah as vocalists, with Taniya appearing in the cast.
No Confirmed New Taniya Chatterjee Web Series for 2026 Yet
There are plenty of websites claiming Taniya is filming new projects.
But the actress herself was more cautious in August 2026.
When asked about upcoming projects, she said she does have projects lined up but did not reveal names, platforms or release dates.
That means claims such as:
new Watchman season confirmed
new MastiWala series confirmed
multiple major OTT sequels coming in 2026
should not be presented as facts yet.
The accurate update is:
Taniya says she has upcoming projects, but their titles have not been officially revealed.
Where to Watch Taniya Chatterjee’s Older Series in 2026
This section needs caution because the Indian OTT landscape changed significantly after many of Taniya’s shows were released.
In July 2025, the Indian government directed public access to 25 OTT platforms, including Ullu and ALTT, to be disabled in India.
In July 2026, the government said 50 OTT platforms had been disabled for public access over the previous two years.
That means older instructions such as:
“Watch Watchman on the Ullu app”
or
“Watch Gandii Baat on ALTT”
may no longer reflect current legal availability in India.
The safest approach is to check each title through current legal streaming services rather than relying on old platform links.
One More Problem With Taniya Chatterjee’s Online Biography
Different public databases disagree about several personal details.
For example:
IMDb currently lists December 22, 1994.
Some other databases previously used November 27.
The original draft uses December 26.
Some biographies say Kolkata.
Others have claimed Varanasi.
This is exactly the type of celebrity-information loop where one site copies another until an uncertain fact begins looking official.
For ReadThis.in, I would keep only the better-supported points:
Taniya is associated with Kolkata.
She later moved to Mumbai.
She worked in modelling before her Hindi OTT breakthrough.
Gandii Baat Season 4 became her first major Hindi web-series role.
Anything more specific should be supported by a direct interview or verified profile.
Quick Fact Check
Watchman is a 2024-2025 series for Taniya.
Incorrect. Watchman premiered in January 2023, and Taniya is credited as Tanu in six episodes.
Love Bites released in 2025.
Incorrect. Its five episodes were released between June and July 2023.
Love Bites is a Lal Mirchi series.
Current IMDb production information identifies Dreamzz Images Studio and EorTV Original.
Taniya plays Tanu Madam in Watchman.
Her documented character name is Tanu. “Tanu Madam” may appear informally on fan pages, but IMDb uses Tanu.
Gandii Baat was Taniya’s first Hindi web series.
That is supported by Taniya’s own interview.
Taniya sings Soneya.
Incorrect. She appears in the video. Harmaan Nazim and Sarodee Borah are the singers.

The More Interesting Story Is How Her Career Changed After 2023
Taniya’s filmography makes more sense when divided into phases.
2020 – The OTT Entry
Gandii Baat, Class of 2020 and Kasak established her in Hindi digital entertainment.
2021-2023 – Her Busiest Web-Series Phase
Crimes and Confessions, Jaal, Titliyaan, Dil Do, Watchman, Wild Fantasy, Love Bites and Picture Abhi Baaki Hai created the bulk of the filmography people still search today.
2024-2025 – Anthologies and Broader Projects
Desi Kisse, House of Lies and Utha Patak kept her active, but her releases became more spread across different formats.
2026 – Music Becomes More Visible
Qayamat arrived in January.
Haye Re Haye followed in August.
And Taniya says more projects are coming, although she has deliberately kept their names private.
That is a better current narrative than claiming she is releasing one new web series after another in 2026.
You Should Read This
The biggest problem with most Taniya Chatterjee web-series lists is not that they are too short.
It is that they mix different years, platforms and formats until the timeline stops making sense.
Watchman becomes a 2025 show.
Love Bites suddenly becomes a 2025 release.
A music-video appearance gets mixed with singing credits.
And rumours about future projects are listed as if they have already been announced.
The more accurate story is actually interesting enough without those additions.
Taniya had an extremely concentrated OTT phase from 2020 through 2023.
Kasak gave her 11 episodes.
Crimes and Confessions gave her eight.
Picture Abhi Baaki Hai gave her seven.
Watchman and Dil Do each gave her six credited episodes.
Then the pace changed.
By 2026, instead of another flood of web-series releases, audiences were seeing her in Qayamat and Haye Re Haye.
That may suggest the next phase of her career will be broader than the niche OTT space that first made her searchable.
But until her unnamed projects are officially announced, that is where the verified story ends.
